Petrovietnam and subsidiaries give Tet gifts
From 16th to 26th January 2016, representatives of Petrovietnam and its subsidiaries (PVFCCo, PVCFC, PTSC, PVD) continuously carried out social welfare activities on the occasion of Lunar New Year, especially the award of Tet gifts to the families in difficult situation across the country.

On 16th January, Petrovietnam Vice President Nguyen Sinh Khang and representatives of PVCFC, PVFCCo attended the Ceremony for inauguration and handover of medical station and gave Tet gifts in Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province, with a total value of nearly 4 billion dong.

 

On 23rd January, Petrovietnam Vice President Nguyen Hung Dzung and representatives of PTSC, PVD, PVFCCo attended the Ceremony for inauguration and handover of hospital, gave Tet gifts, supported the Study Encouragement Fund and donated house of gratitude in Tho Xuan district, Thanh Hoa. These programs worth nearly 2.5 billion dong.

Also on 23rd January, Petrovietnam Vice President Le Minh Hong joined with PVFCCo in a program to give Tet gifts in Quang Binh province with the value of nearly 160 million dong.

 

Later, on 25th – 26th January, PVFCCo gave gifts to the Navy officers and soldiers at Brigades 162 and 146, Zone 4 and in Hai Phong with the value of 250 million dong.

It is possible to say that, despite difficulties in the oil and gas industry due to declining oil price, the social welfare activities, especially giving Tet gifts to the poor and difficult households, households under preferential treatment policy is still maintained by the Group and its subsidiaries. The activities aim to join hands with the Party and the Government to bring them warmer Lunar New Year.
