Safety – Health – Environment (SHE) aspects are the first responsibility and a component in production business management. Petrovietnam shall apply all appropriate measures to alleviate or mitigate risks to human health and life, causing damage to assets or the environment.
To attain above-mentioned objectives, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group shall commit to:
1. Ensure that operations, products and services of Petrovietnam and its subsidiary companies satisfy legal requirements and meet standards of Safety-Health-Environment;
2. Provide necessary resources, system, procedures to form and maintain the lowest risk level in aspect of Safety – Health – Environment;
3. Ensure that emergency-responding plans and capacity are developed and maintained to have in-time and effective responses in emergencies;
4. Provide its officials and employees with knowledge of AT-5. Periodically review, assess the management and implementation results of Safety-Health-Environment task for constant improvement;
5. Prioritize and promote utilization of new energy-saving, environment-friendly technologies in all production business activities of Petrovietnam and its subsidiary companies;
6. Create favourable conditions for exchanges between Petrovietnam and its subsidiary companies and officials, workers, contractors, clients, suppliers and those who are related to Safety-Health-Environment.
Vietnam Oil and Gas Group requests all the staff members to acknowledge and comply adequately with this Policy in all activities. Petrovietnam also hopes that the Safety-Health-Environment management system of partners is suitable with above-mentioned Policy in order to fulfill the SHE task for common interest of community and interest of each party.
